GZCL | General Gainz | Dice Gainz

Welcome to the GZCL General Gainz Dice Gainz app! This app is based on the General Gainz philosophy created by Cody Lefever (GZCL). The original description of the General Gainz philosophy can be found by following this link.

General Gainz is a unique philosophy based on many of the principles of the GZCL method. It is essential to understand these principles before employing this methodology into your daily training. Refer to GZCL's official blog for more information on the principles of the GZCL method. There is a plethora of free information, programs, and templates available there.

Now, on with the Dice Gainz! You'll notice that General Gainz is referenced as a "philosophy" and not a program. That is because one of the best aspects of General Gainz is its flexibility and fluid structure. General Gainz is based on auto-regulation and intuition in the weight room. According to Cody, Dice Gainz is a useful tool for those who do not have a ton of time to have a defined plan, or perhaps those between plans; it takes away the thinking and allows you to jump right into lifting. If you're an overthinker who just wants to get into the gym and lift, this is the plan for you!

To use this app, simply enter your one rep maxes for the four main lifts in the boxes below. Then, select what lifts you'd like: upper body only, lower body only, or full body. Finally, roll the dice and follow your workout for the day! If you're not happy with the lifts...roll the dice again!

*Note: Because General Gainz is based on auto-regulation and intuition, you may choose to not use the percentages based on your one-rep maxes. In that situation, simply use the weights appropriate to your target rep ranges.
